Bible Study

All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.
— 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Come grab a cup of coffee or tea and join us as we gather for Bible Study each Wednesday at 12:30pm in the Narthex.

During the summer, our group is reading some of the shorter books of the Bible in one sitting! So far we’ve read through Philemon and Haggai, and we’ll be looking at some of the Pastoral Epistles soon.

This Fall, we’ll resume our practice of reading through a longer book. We typically read up to a chapter each week. Our conversations focus on both how we as the Church might faithfully seek to deepen our knowledge and love of God through the reading of scripture as well as how the text influences our daily lives as Christians. If you're a long-time student of the Bible or if you've never read the Bible at all, you're welcome here. Questions are welcomed, too! You're encouraged to bring a personal Bible, though we’re happy to provide copies as well.

In 2018-19, we read through the Gospel of Mark and the Acts of the Apostles. We’ll start a new book in September 2019.
